1. About Esken and these Terms
Esken is provided by BLW, spletna prodaja, d.o.o. (BLW d.o.o.), Rakuševa ulica 8, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia; company registration number 9834451000; VAT identification number SI69023409. In these Terms, 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to BLW d.o.o.
Esken is a web application for uploading, processing, reviewing, organising and exporting invoices and related business documents. These Terms of service govern your use of Esken. By registering and accepting these Terms, you agree to them on your own behalf or on behalf of the business you are authorised to represent.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement. If you do not accept these Terms, do not register or use the service. Questions about the service or these Terms can be sent to info@esken.si.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date. You must verify your email address before accessing the app. Keep your password confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out using your account.
3. Free demo
Eligible first-time users receive one free demo lasting seven days with an allowance of 100 document pages. No credit card is required. The seven-day period begins immediately when your account is created, including the time before you verify your email. Verification does not restart or extend the demo, and creating another account does not provide another demo.
Automated processing requires both an active access period and enough remaining pages. The demo stops allowing automated processing when its time or page allowance is exhausted. Demo access does not automatically become a paid plan. Do not create multiple accounts or use false details to obtain repeated free trials or bypass limits.
4. Paid access and payments
Paid plans are purchased manually. Plan prices exclude VAT. Applicable VAT is added at checkout according to the billing country. The price, page allowance and duration are displayed before checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe. Purchases do not renew automatically, and we do not automatically charge you when access expires.
A purchase during an active paid period adds the purchased days and pages to your existing paid allowance while preserving pages already used. A purchase during the demo or after paid access has expired starts a new paid period with a fresh allowance. Remaining demo pages are replaced when paid access starts. Unused pages do not provide processing access after the applicable period expires.
Contact info@esken.si about incorrect charges, payment problems or refund requests. Any refund or withdrawal rights that apply under mandatory law remain available. Changes to published prices and plan allowances apply to future purchases.
5. Your documents and data
You retain your rights in documents and data you upload. You must have permission to upload and process them, including any personal information they contain. You grant us permission to store, process and transmit that material as necessary to provide the service and its requested features.
Keep copies of original documents and review exported files before relying on them. Esken is a processing tool and should not be your only archive for important business records.
6. Automated processing and review
Esken uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to extract and organise document information. Results may be incomplete or incorrect. You must check amounts, dates, tax information, company details and other extracted data before approving, exporting or using the results.
The service does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice and does not replace professional review or your record-keeping responsibilities.
7. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not upload malicious or unlawful material, infringe another person's rights, share credentials to evade account limits, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or bypass payment, verification, security or usage restrictions. Do not use automated requests to abuse the demo or consume processing resources beyond your allowance.
8. Personal information and service providers
Our Privacy Policy, available through the link on this page, explains the personal data we handle, our purposes and legal bases, service providers, international processing, retention, cookies and your data-protection rights. It is a transparency notice; accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to personal-data processing. Where we process personal data on your business's behalf, any required data processing agreement applies separately.
We process account information, uploaded documents and usage information to operate the service. We record the IP address and browser user agent used at registration and use a random browser identifier and pseudonymous fingerprints to prevent repeated demo claims, together with the time and version of your Terms acceptance. Authentication uses cookies needed to maintain your session.
Providing the service involves third-party providers, including Google Cloud for hosting and storage, OpenAI for automated document processing, Stripe for payments, and our email provider for account messages. Relevant information is transmitted to these providers to perform those functions. Contact info@esken.si with questions about your information or requests concerning your account and documents.
9. Availability and service changes
We may maintain, update or change the service. Availability can be affected by maintenance, technical failures and third-party outages. We do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free processing. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes that affect purchased access.
10. Suspension and ending your account
We may restrict or suspend access when necessary to address abuse, security risks, unlawful activity or a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and contact info@esken.si to request account closure. Contact us before closing your account if you need help exporting your records or resolving unused paid access.
11. Service limitations and your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that it will meet every business requirement. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you supply, your failure to review processing results, or unauthorised use caused by your failure to protect your credentials.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, warranties or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms are governed by Slovenian law, without limiting mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. Contact us first about any dispute so that we can try to resolve it; unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent courts under applicable law.
12. Ownership and updates to these Terms
Esken's software, branding and service design belong to their respective owners. Using the service does not transfer those rights to you. We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes through the app or email. The version and date shown on this page identify the current Terms.
